Assign a geofence to a citizen

This guide explains how to assign a geofence to a citizen in Stella Care’s Administration System. The function is used to create safety zones for citizens so that you can receive alerts if they leave or move outside a defined area.

How to assign a geofence

1. Go to the Geofences menu on the left side of the Administration System.

2. Find the geofence you want to assign a citizen to.

3. Click the edit icon (✏️) next to the geofence.

4. Select the Citizens tab.

5. On the right side, you’ll see the list Citizens, showing all available citizens.

6. Drag the citizens you want to activate the geofence for from the right column to the left column labeled Geofence active for the following citizens.

7. A green icon next to the citizen indicates that the geofence is now active for the selected person.

8. Click Save to confirm the changes.

Tips

• Use the search field to quickly find a specific citizen.

• You can also assign or remove a geofence directly from the citizen’s profile under their geofence settings.

• A geofence can be active for multiple citizens at the same time.

• You can always remove a citizen from the geofence by dragging them back to the right column.

• Make sure that the selected citizens have an active device before assigning a geofence.
