Use the battery graph – understand battery performance over time
This guide explains how to open and understand the battery graph in Stella Care’s Administration System. The battery graph shows how the device’s battery level has changed over a selected period and can be used to identify patterns, charging habits, or technical issues.¨
How to open the battery graph
Go to Citizens in the navigation menu on the left side.
Click on the citizen you want to view.
Find the device you want to see history for, and click the (📄) icon in the “History” column.
A new window will open with the tab “Activity history.”
Click the Battery graph tab.
You will now see the battery graph for the selected device in the chosen time period.
How the battery graph works
The battery graph shows the battery level in percent over time.
At the top, you can select a period by entering dates in the “From” and “To” fields.
The graph typically shows
Drops in battery level: The device has been in use or turned on for an extended time.
Sudden rises: The device has been charged.
Patterns across days: For example, if the device repeatedly runs low on battery or is not being charged consistently.
The steeper the battery drop, the higher the device’s power consumption during that time.
What you can use the battery graph for
Identify if the device is being charged correctly
You can see when it was connected to a charger and whether the charging happens regularly.
Spot signs of problems
If the battery drains unusually fast, it may indicate:
Poor signal coverage
Incorrect settings (e.g., frequent reporting)
Constant movement or heavy use
Plan better charging routines
If the device runs low on battery every day or night, the graph can help adjust routines.
Tips
Try selecting a longer period (e.g., 7–14 days) to see clearer patterns.
Combine the battery graph with the activity history to understand why the battery level changes.
If the battery repeatedly drops quickly, check the device settings or contact Stella Care Support.
