This guide helps you understand the Wi-Fi networks section in Stella Care’s Administration System


Wi-Fi networks – table overview

The table lists all registered Wi-Fi networks with the following columns:

  1. MAC address: The unique identification address for the network.

  2. Displayed name: The name registered for the network (SSID).

  3. Type: Shows how the network was registered:



    1. Automatic – the network was automatically detected by a device.


    2. Manual – the network was manually added by an administrator.


  4. Approval level: Indicates the network’s status:



    1. Trusted – devices are allowed to connect to the network.


    2. Blocked – devices are not allowed to connect to the network.


  5. Latitude and Longitude: Show the geographic location where the network was last detected.

  6. Edit: Click the pencil icon ( ✏️) to modify the network information or its approval status.

  7. Delete: Click the trash can icon (🗑️) to remove the network from the list.



Tips

  • Blocked networks cannot be used by devices.

  • Trusted networks ensure stable and approved connections which leads to longer battery life for the device.

  • Regularly review the list to ensure only secure and relevant networks are marked as trusted.
