Edit an alarm text
This guide helps you understand how to edit an alarm text in Stella Care’s Administration System. This allows you to customize the messages sent to users in the app, so they match your internal needs and workflows.
What does it mean to edit an alarm text?
When you edit an alarm text, you change the message shown in the app when a specific device alarm is triggered.
This can be useful if you want to:
make messages clearer
use internal terminology
add extra information
How to edit an alarm text
Go to “Alarm texts” in the navigation menu on the left side.
Find the alarm text you want to edit in the table.
Click the ✏️ icon in the “Edit” column next to the selected alarm text.
A new window will open where you can adjust the text.
When you are finished, click “Save”.
The alarm text is now updated, and the new message will appear in the app the next time that alarm is triggered.
Tips
Keep alarm texts short and easy to understand.
Avoid internal abbreviations unless all users understand them.
Consider testing an alarm to ensure the message displays correctly in the app.
You can always return and edit the text again if needed.
