Overview of alarm texts

This guide helps you understand the alarm text overview in Stella Care’s Administration System Alarm texts represent the messages generated by devices and shown to users in the app.

What are alarm texts?

Alarm texts are the notifications triggered by a device when an event occurs that requires attention.

These events can include low battery, alarm button activation, geofence alerts, or connectivity issues.

Alarm texts help you understand why an alarm was triggered and whether any action is needed.

Alarm text overview

When you go to the “Alarm texts” section in the menu on the left, you will see a table with the following columns:

  • Alarm type: Shows the category of the alarm (for example Battery, Alarm, Geofence, Wear, Availability).

  • Alarm status: Indicates whether the alarm requires attention, has been handled, or if the device is back to normal.

  • Text: The specific alarm message shown to users in the app.

  • Last updated: Displays the date and time when the alarm text was last modified.

  • Edit: An icon (✏️) that allows you to update the selected alarm text.

This table gives you an overview of which messages are sent to users and when they were updated.

Tips

  • Alarm texts are used in the app to display clear messages for staff and relatives.

  • It’s important that the texts are clear and correct, so users understand why an alarm occurred.

  • Use the edit function (✏️) to adjust texts if your department needs custom messages.

  • Review alarm texts regularly to ensure all messages remain relevant.
