Play sound on the device

This guide explains how to make a GPS device play an audible sound from the Stella Care app. The function is used when you need to locate the device physically.

How to play sound on the device

1. Go to Devices in the app, or open the citizen’s page and select the device.

2. Tap the device to open its details.

3. Tap Make noice.

4. The device will now emit a clear sound for approximately 20 seconds.

This makes it easier to find the device if it is hidden in a bag, bed, jacket, or in a room where it is not visible.

Tips

• If you are near the citizen, the sound can help you locate the device quickly without needing to start a call.
