Handle or decline a notification

This guide explains how to handle or decline a notification in the Stella Care app, so you can quickly indicate whether you are taking responsibility for an alarm.

How to handle a notification

1. When a new notification arrives, it is displayed openly right away, so you see it immediately.

2. The notification shows details about the event, such as the time and the type of alarm or warning.

3. Tap “I will handle this” if you take responsibility for responding to the notification.

4. The notification is then removed from the list of active notifications.

When you choose to handle a notification, other alarm receivers can see that you have taken it.

How to decline a notification

1. When a new notification arrives, select “I cannot handle this” if you are unable to respond.

2. The notification remains active so that others can take it.

3. This clearly shows your colleagues that the alarm has not yet been handled.

Tips

• If you are unsure whether you can respond in time, it is better to select “I cannot handle this” so others can take over quickly.

• You can always minimize a notification and return to it later as long as it has not been handled.
