Add and remove citizens you want to receive alarms for
This guide explains how to add or remove citizens you wish to receive alarms for in Stella Care’s Administration System. You control which citizens will send notifications to your app.
What does it mean to receive alarms for a citizen?
When you are assigned as an alarm receiver for a citizen, you receive notifications in the app whenever the citizen’s device triggers an alert — for example a geofence alarm, low battery, SOS button, or connection loss.
Only citizens who belong to the same department as you can be managed.
Add or remove citizens via App Settings (general method)
Click the App Settings button at the top right.
You will now see a list of all citizens in your department.
To receive alarms for a citizen:
Swipe left on the citizen to add them as an alarm receiver.
To stop receiving alarms for a citizen:
Swipe right to remove them from your list.
Once a citizen is added, you will begin receiving alarms from their device in the app.
Add or remove alarm receivers for a specific citizen
Go to the Citizens tab in the left-hand menu.
Click once on the citizen you want to manage.
Click the button the (✏️ Edit) in the top left corner.
Go to the tab 3. App settings .
You will now see two lists:
Citizens you already receive alarms for
Citizens you can choose to receive alarms for
To add yourself (or another user) as an alarm receiver:
Swipe right on the name.
To remove an alarm receiver:
on the name.
This method allows you to manage alarm receivers for one specific citizen — ideal when only certain staff members should receive alarms for that citizen.
Tips
You can always change who you receive alarms for — both generally and for specific citizens.
The fewer citizens you follow, the easier it is to keep your alarm overview clean and manageable.
Only citizens from are available for selection.
If a citizen is moved to another department, all alarm connections are automatically removed.
